Danish-born Kenneth Willardt has been living the American Dream for over a decade he does what he loves, shooting fashion and beauty with a unique blend of perfectionism, patience and a knack for finding just the right angle every single time. Kenneths desire is to bring his aesthetical vision to the world by exposing the natural beauty of each of his subjects, whether its a glimmer in her eye or the radiance of her skin. His prints inspire hope as well as a feeling of startling intimacy and offer a vision of beauty, so often, so out-of-reach to so many as something both real and tangible. His mission as a professional photographer is to capture the spirit and essence of flesh and blood with his lens and then present it in a totally fresh and innovative way. The approach is wonderfully effective and has given Kenneth the opportunity to work with many of the worlds leading beauty companies, including Christian Dior, LOreal, Nivea, Shiseido, Maybelline, Matrix, Garnier, Calgon and Astor all in the last year. He also shot the world-renown Sign of the Times campaign for Target. Kenneths photographs have been published this year in Allure, German Vogue, Spanish Vogue, Brazilian Vogue, British Glamour, GQ and In Style. Celebrities Sarah Jessica Parker, Lucy Liu, Milla Jovovich, Claire Danes, Natalie Imbruglia, Claire Forlani, and Sarah Michelle Geller have all recently been exposed by Kenneth for both editorial and for beauty campaigns. Kenneth was recently nominated for Beauty Photographer of the Year at the 2003 Pantene Awards. For Kenneth, happiness is the most sacred component to life and finding it in others is the most satisfying aspect of my job. It is no surprise then that Brazil (the land of Carnival) is one of his favorite locations in the world. |
